Rental Rates

Stay 4 nights for pay for 3 winter offer - This offer applies to the months of December, January and February but excludes Christmas and New Year.  The Nook is a wonderful 'home from home' to come back to after winter adventures.

The Nook is a luxury cottage ideal for two people plus one or two very well behaved dogs.  We want your pets to feel as at home as you do, and whilst we would not encourage them upstairs or on the furniture, we do provide blankets to make this possible if that is what they are used to.

We do not require a damages deposit but hope that you will respect our little house and look after it as if it were your own.  Of course accidents do happen sometimes, and if you have a breakage or other mishap, please either just replace it or let us know so that we can replace or repair so that The Nook is perfect once again for anyone following you.

We ask for a 20% deposit on booking if more than 4 weeks in advance, with the balance payable 4 weeks before your holiday.

We like to be flexible with out changeover day so, as well as the weekly rate, we also offer a daily rate, but booking for From May to September will be charged a minimum rate of 4 days.  Winter months will be a minimum rate of 3 days but don't forget our 4 for 3 night offer during those winter months.

For holidays overlapping a month end, the weekly price of the start date applies but please contact me if most of your holiday is in the subsequent month.

Cheeky weekends  Whilst we would recommend a longer stay to be able to fully appreciate the cottage and the surrounding area, we also realise that sometimes it is not possible, or you may want to just squeeze in a short break.  At the beginning of every month we release some 2 night breaks for the coming month where availability permits.

Cleaning: Please add £60 to each booking Sorry but laundry and cleaning has to be done, and done perfectly, so we pay our cleaners to do a fantastic job for each guest, therefore we have to pass some of the charge on to you.

Dogs: Are very welcome so long as they are not likely to be destructive.  We do not charge additional cleaning charges for your pets. 

Cancellation policy:

Full refund for cancellations made up to 8 weeks before the start of your stay.

50% refund for cancellations made up to 4 weeks before the start of your stay.

25% refund for cancellations made up to 2 weeks before your stay, after that no refund.
